This is a list of requirements for installing WebOrgChart .NET
Demo, be mindful to consult your system administrator in order to
determine the appropriate upgrades and patches before installing the
application.
Operating System:
- Microsoft Windows NT® 4.0 (SP 6a required)
- Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP2 Recommended)
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
- Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
- Microsoft Windows 2003
Hardware:
- Intel Pentium II or compatible 350-megahertz (MHz) or higher
processor 256 megabytes (MB) RAM minimum; 512 MB recommended 25 MB
free hard disk
Supported Databases:
- Microsoft SQL server
- Microsoft Access (ADODB)
Software Requirements:
- NET Framework 1.0 or later (SP2); please check www.microsoft.com
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later (install Internet Explorer 6.0)
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer WebControls; please check www.microsoft.com
- IIS 5.1 or higher
- FileDsn or any connection string that enables ASP
to connect to the database.
- MSXML Parser 3.0
! If you are using Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 make sure to add/enable the following line in you Web.Config file:
pages validateRequest="false"
Installation
- Run the msi file
- From the browser start:
default.aspx
